Community Living Camp- EXPLORE 2021

Our college and the union together planned to organize a community living camp as per our syllabus. It was from the 15th to the 19th of February. The notice of the camp is given below. 





On the first day, we planned everything for the camp. We have selected the theme as "EXPLORE THE ENDURANCE". We have selected a Teacher co-ordinator. It was Dr.Leena Vahid and Dr.K R Sivapriya. Then we have selected two student representatives, Jebin and Arya. Then we have divided the whole class into 3 houses and also different committees for proper working. The duties and management for each day were given to each house. All the students were active and they have come up with creative and innovative ideas every day and put a lot of effort to make the camp beautiful. 


We begin our camp by flag hoisting with marchpast of all the house. Then Municipal chairman Sri. A Shaju inaugurated our camp. Our principal Sri. G Roy gave a presidential address and a keynote address by Very Rev. Fr. Zachariah Ramban. Ward counselor Sri. Jessy John, Dr. Santhoshkumar sir gave felicitation and Dr. Leena teacher expressed her gratitude to all. The next session was handled by Dr. Shaji sir by Introducing the theme of our camp "Explore the Endurance". The afternoon session was handled by Sri. Brahmanayakam Mahadevan sir based on the theme "Explore the Exquisite". It was an amazing class and all of us had a reviving and unforgettable experience. 

The next day begins with the session "Explore the Mind" by Dr.S Anand. His class was based on the psychology of our minds. After that session was continued with the Cultural programs of our students. We had arranged a Treasure hunt and a creative and funny skit for our students. 

The last day begins with the Wonderful and energetic performance by Sri.Punnapra Jyothikumar. It was an amazing experience we had by listening and dancing to folk songs. Then we had a valedictory function in the afternoon. The chief guest was Sri. Anitha Gopakumar. Camp leader Arya read the camp report. Riju sir welcomed everyone. Roy sir gave a presidential address. Many prizes have been distributed to students of different houses according to their performance. 


The next day we had an outing to Mango Meadows, Kottayam. Mangomeadows is the world’s 1st Agricultural theme park spread across 30 acres of land with more than 4500 species of plants and trees. It is one of the most bio-diverse pieces of land on the planet. We have started from ICH, Kottarakkara. We have reached there by 11am. Then walked around with a guide to see different flora and fauna. Then we had a nice lunch. Then we engaged in different activities. It was an amazing and pleasant experience.
